Saturday was a good time, I had the opportunity to view how a music video was shot and be apart of one. I was nervous because I showed up and realized I was going to be in the shoot. What??? Okay so Solsis, government Jonquille Rice, invited me to come and see how things got along. I definitely appreciated that thought, so I made it a point to be there. I learned tons and my footage will be used in some way to support Fatso. The video was "These Jeans," the Beat your feet kings were there, dancing and showing off hidden talents. Yup, they can sing too. (The girl apparently doesn't take compliments well tho :/ ha) So eventually I'll get video up. I didn't take pictures but you'll see what's going on in the video! The high school we were shooting in housed people trying to make it, those who already had and then those who just had powerful abilities to do much. much good.
After that it was nap time. Didn't set my alarm so I over slept, was planning on meeting Graciela at 9 and I didn't get there until 10:45 p.m. Not a good look but she was still waiting on me, didn't seem like she was in a hurry. It was called the Spring Equinox party, celebrating the new season of Spring. Lovely it was. Most of the people were couriers, so they ride bikes for a living. None of them were bean poles, you know that's what I usually see. :) It was nice talking to them and seeing what they do. There were many different types of people there.
