Our Rooted Artists
 click on picture Now this project caters to artists. Most great artists aren't advertised on a large scale nor recognized on a large scale (until they die). So our goal is to expose and bring to surface DC/MD/VA (other areas as well) artists. The project will host artists work and reveal the underground world of art galleries, shows, exhibits around the area.

 The Grounded Visions Mural Project created a 6 week interactive opportunity for youth to use their artistic talents to benefit the community.
The mural hung at Sankofa Bookstore on Georgia Ave. for 7 months and is now in transition and set to grace the inside of the newly established Jota Lounge. |

Erin and Khia's Baby Journey
In the wake of rights for homosexuals emerging, some rights still aren't being afforded to certain couples. It's not legal to get married in Baltimore so this couple got married in California. Now they're on their way to starting their family by having a child. UTP follows a young successful African American lesbian couple as they go through the process of artificial insemination, from finding a donor match to what their family thinks of their decision. UTP gets up close and personal with the couple.
